I need some help settling a little debate my husband and I have been having over the past couple of days…
Should a woman wear “sexy” bras and panties every day?
My take:
It’s not practical for a woman to wear sexy bras and panties daily for the following reasons:
1. Most of the fancy stuff is uncomfortable to wear! (As visually appealing as say Victoria’s Secret’s Sexy Panties is, the thought of me sitting at my computer all day with a perpetual wedgie is NOT something that sounds like fun.)
2. Fancy lingerie = bad for your skin. I actually got yelled at by my dermatologist when I wore a lace bar during my annual check-up. She told me, and I quote: “For everyday wear, lace is bad for your skin.”
3. Cost factor. Purchasing fancy bras and panties are a lot more expensive than your day-to-day ones. Not to mention, my husband watches me like a hawk when I purchase what he calls “frivolous” items (i.e. shoes), so why he would want me to spend $60 on a bra when I can get a no-frills one for $15 is beyond me.
4. Hello see-through! I don’t know about other ladies, but I don’t think it’s appropriate to wear a bright red lacy bra underneath a white shirt at the office.
My husband’s take:
My wife should wear sexy colorful bras and panties at all times because it looks so much better than those boring tan or white ones.
So can anyone help us settle this argument once and for all?!?!
